Security Design Experience - August 2013

Last week Arteco participated in Security Design Experience, an event for security professionals in Texas put on by Dollacker & Associates, our reps for that region.  Attendees were invited to Barton Creek resort to enjoy a day of relaxing and then learn the latest in security system design from industry experts.

We’d like to thank Dollacker & Associates for hosting this wonderful event and inviting Arteco to be a part of it.

Let's Talk Security Conference Domincan Republic 2013

In June, Arteco’s rep firm for Latin America and the Caribbean, Security Marketing International (SMI) hosted a technology seminar with their local partner Security Plus.  This 2-day event invited integrators and end users to learn the technology behind the products that keep us secure.  Arteco was able to showcase their Next-Logic software and answer questions first hand from the people who use the product.

Arteco announces integration of ARTECO-LOGIC Next with CIAS platform

Arteco, the industry leader in single-platform Video Event Management Software (VEMS) products for the security industry, is pleased to announce the recent integration of ARTECO-LOGIC Next software with CIAS, a leader in perimeter security for Smart Fencing and Microwave Barriers. 

With this innovative product integration, any event detected by the full-line of perimeter detection products from CIAS will be sent to the Video Event Management Software, ARTECO-LOGIC Next.   Cameras can move into preset positions when an event is detected or static cameras can also create video events when the barriers are breached.  Users can also couple this perimeter detection with video analytics like virtual tripwire, or violated area for maximum protection. 

Steve Birkmeier, Vice President of Arteco added, “There is a lot of synergy between CIAS and ARTECO and we are very excited to announce this new product integration.  Advanced perimeter security like smart fencing and microwave barriers are a perfect match for area analytics with video security. Being able to manage all of these real-time events with one common software is key to the success of the overall system.”

CIAS offers a complete range of perimeter intrusion detection systems, both indoor and outdoor, for sensitive sites in industrial, military, commercial and residential environments all over the world.  The protection begins at the outer perimeter and can be designed according to the level of security required, no matter whether installing on a pre-existing structure (fence, perimeter walls, corridors) or creating an open area with invisible external protection.  Climatic factors have no impact on the performance and the detection reliability is guaranteed.
